What is Turboface?
Turboface is a virtual agency offering design solutions at a reasonable price. Basically we are two guys who love design and who want to help you in anyway we can (well not anyway, we won’t do your laundry for instance).

Who is Turboface?
Turboface was founded by the Hawkins brothers Perry & Mitch (not board game makers) in the summer of 2009. It is a launching platform for a plethora of ideas. It is a website portfolio. It’s a blog. It’s an opportunity to share the thoughts & ideas. We hope to bring in our friends and achieve an online community that we’d like to visit.

Perry Hawkins
After completing his TAFE Certificate IV in Digital Media, Perry entered the big wide world working for an online photo store as a Graphic Designer. After years of wondering “why not?” Perry and Mitch decided that they would begin what they always talked about – working together in a lighthouse office doing what we love. That dream has now become a reality (though the lighthouse didn’t eventuate).
In his spare time Perry enjoys talking about any sport played on the planet earth (especially football), watching DVD box sets of forgotten TV series and debating the ins and outs of art and the media (ie magazines and television).
Skills include wearing thick rimmed glasses and sneakers from the 80s, being mistaken for people who wear thick rimmed glasses (Elvis Costello and Clark Kent to name but two) and an amazing vertical leap.

Mitch Hawkins
After completing his design degree at Newcastle University, Mitch started his own design studio. After a few years and a lot of experiences he decided to leave his baby & started working in the exciting world of advertising. Now at Sticky Advertising, a Newcastle based advertising + digital agency, Mitch now wraps his ideas around television, radio, graphics, web development and social media.
In his own time, Mitch enjoys comics, TV shows on DVD and writing (poorly). He has crush on Denis Leary, HBO and Batman.
Skills include being able to quote Ferris Bueller word for word, can tell you all four main characters story arcs in any Seinfeld episode and once drank a whole litre of water (though not at once).
